What a research fee
actually buys.

A small comparison of published research offers shows why scope matters more than the headline price.

The finding

The three providers reviewed describe different research models: packaged market analysis, bespoke corridor intelligence, and interview-led competitive research. Their public fees are useful planning signals, but comparing them as interchangeable reports would obscure important differences.

What the published offers say

Selected advertised fees, reviewed October 28, 2026; USD figures as displayed by each provider.
Provider / offerPublished feeVisible scope signal
ZKK / Launchpad$999Market and competitor research, written report, walkthrough, one revision round
Vrkan / Custom Intelligence ReportFrom $1,500A bespoke report on a market, corridor, or decision; depth and urgency affect scope
Fletcher / Competitor ProfileAbout $15,000Five expert interviews plus desk research, with a stated four-week turnaround

Our assessment

Research method is a more useful first comparison than report length. Interview-led work adds a different evidence stream from public-source analysis. Bespoke regional work introduces another variable: the provider’s particular market access and interpretation.

A higher fee alone does not establish better research. A lower fee does not establish equivalent coverage. The buyer needs a common specification before testing which offer provides the right fit.

Five questions before commissioning

  1. Which decision and research questions are included?
  2. Are findings based on public sources, interviews, licensed data, or a combination?
  3. What deliverables, source references, and review sessions are included?
  4. Which assumptions, access limits, and exclusions could affect the conclusion?
  5. What is the final fee for the same scope, timing, and permitted use?

What this comparison cannot establish

This is a selected review of three public offers, not a market survey or a quality ranking. We did not commission these firms, inspect their private deliverables, or verify realized fees, client satisfaction, staffing, or negotiated terms. Confidence is higher in the reported page descriptions than in any broader conclusion about the market.
